3. PRE-AUTHORISATION
On the day of the Client's arrival, the establishment requests an authorisation (also called "pre-authorisation" as a guarantee) from the Client's bank for a fixed amount of €200 to cover any consumption or expenditure by the Client on site (breakfast, restaurant, bar, damages, etc.). The pre-authorisation request is not an immediate debit but corresponds to a reserve for later payment, authorised by the Client's bank, which temporarily reduces the limit of the bank card used to guarantee the possibility of a later debit. In some cases, depending on the Customer's bank, the pre-authorisation request may nevertheless appear as a pending debit on the bank account associated with the card used.
On the day of departure, if no damage is noted and no payment is outstanding, the establishment will request the release of the pre-authorisation request from the Client's bank. Any consumption or expenses incurred by the Client on the premises shall be paid by the Client on the day of his departure to the establishment;
In the event of damage, theft or outstanding debits, the establishment will send a debit request to the Customer's bank.
In rare cases, the pre-authorisation request may result in a debit by the Customer's bank even before the actual debit is made. In this case, the debit will not be made twice. The balance, if in favour of the Client, will be automatically credited back to the Client by the bank.
If the booking is cancelled after the pre-authorisation request has been activated in accordance with the cancellation conditions of the booked fare, a request for cancellation of the pre-authorisation request is automatically sent to the bank of the cardholder used. In rare cases, this cancellation may appear as a refund.
Please note that it usually takes twenty-four (24) to forty-eight (48) hours for the pre-authorised amount to be released (or refunded), but it can take up to seven (7) business days or more, depending on the cardholder's bank.
In order to activate a pre-authorisation request, the Client is asked to provide his/her bank card details when taking out a reservation guarantee. The Client is informed in advance of the characteristics of the pre-authorisation request. The credit card data are only kept by the payment service provider of the establishment, in the framework of a strict policy of security of the banking data.
In any case, this guarantee does not replace the full payment of the stay at the time of booking.
In case of reservation via a hotel reservation platform (Booking.com, Hotel.com...), you will be asked to provide proof of identity and a credit card as a deposit at check-in.

Event Rules

All our clients must be able to present a full Vaccine PASS to access our establishment.
CANCELLATION - POSTPONEMENT In the event of new health restrictions imposed by the government which no longer allow the event to take place (confinement - restricted number of people - closure of hotels/restaurants etc...), our establishment undertakes to postpone the event to a later date (in agreement with the client) without any penalty. In the event of cancellation of the event (except for restrictions linked to the health crisis), the Management reserves the right to apply penalties according to the type of event. Our proposed menus and prices may change over time depending on the date of your event. This possible change will be proposed to you in advance as it could lead to an increase in our rates. During events, we ask all our clients to use only the space reserved for them in the castle.
CHILDREN For the smooth running of our service, children must not run around, play in the common areas or areas reserved for staff, nor go up or down the floors of our establishment. We remind our customers that children are the responsibility of their parents. We decline all responsibility in case of accident. Children wishing to play outside must be under the supervision of an adult. If there are more than 5 children at an event, we recommend that our customers arrange for specific childcare. We remind our customers that children under 16 years of age are not allowed during the second part of the evening, except in the case of privatisation of the space.
NUISANCE - DAMAGE & INSURANCE Any damage caused, inside or outside the establishment, will be charged to you or will be the subject of a claim to your insurance. Our clients must respect the premises and other clients, both in terms of behaviour and in terms of noise pollution throughout the establishment, including outside. If you wish to have a "home-like" atmosphere, you should consider privatizing the premises.
DECORATION Each set of furniture and decorative element is dedicated to a specific area. If you wish to use them in another space, you will be charged for the cost of labour or hire (to be defined when the proposal is drawn up) If you wish to bring your own decorations, please agree in advance with the management and plan to remove them before the closure of the establishment. If you wish to take charge of the restoration of your dedicated space, you will be charged a supplement which will be estimated when the proposal is drawn up.
We thank you for your understanding and remain at your disposal to discuss the matter.
